May 7, 2007 - A New Way To Bid On Auctions

By Ottawa Golf Blog   Posted at  5/07/2007 10:47:00 PM   No comments has a great idea that seems almost too good to be true. You’ve probably used eBay before and bid on a cool new golf club or maybe a new cellular phone or maybe a present for your wife or girlfriend. Well on eBay if you’re the highest bidder on a auction you win whatever is up for auction. Well Bid4Prizes is a bit different. The object is to get the lowest unique bid for the any prize on there site and you win! Here’s an example:
The lowest unique bid for every prize starts out at one penny - but if more than one person bids a penny, then that penny is no longer the lowest unique bid and 2 cents is. If more than one person bids 2 cents then 3 cents is the next lowest unique bid. And so on and so on. The winning bid could be anything, it could be a penny, or $1.05 even $500.22! Whatever is the lowest UNIQUE bid wins the prize! You can also check out the video too.
Call me crazy but I would love to win a new Apple iPhone just because recently I’ve broke my cellular phone and of course it wasn’t under warranty anymore so it would cost me a lot of money to replace it and repair was quite expensive too. So I’ve had to use my father-in-law’s old but still working great Motorola phone. I’d bid $3.90 because I recently turned 39. I wonder if I’d win. I’ll get back to you. Try the site out.
