Day 2-President's Cup- Fourball Matches After USA Takes 5 1/2 to 1/2 Lead

Well day 1 of the President's Cup was very exciting even though the USA took a bit of a lead(It is only Day 1 and you don't win on the first day). Mike Weir's and VJ's match was for me the most fun to watch with Woody Austin's clutch putting and Phil's amazing short game, the match had so many momentum swings I had whiplash watching it on t.v. Weir looked a bit shaky at the beginning but his iron game looked amazing through the middle of he match. Singh and Weir seemed to be a good pairing, today Weir will be teamed with Ernie Els, can't wait.

Today's Matches

Mickelson-Mahan v. Goosen-Cabrera

Woods-Furyk v. Singh-Appleby

Johnson-Howell III v. Weir-Els

Stricker-Verplank v. Scott-Choi

Cink-Glover v. Ogilvy-O'Hern

Tom-Austin v. Immelman-Sabbatini

Today's format Four-ball. Two teammates play their own balls and count their best score on a hole against the best score of their two opponents. This format is also called best ball in other settings. Every member of each Presidents Cup team will be in action today.
