Bridgestone's New e5+ and e6+ Golf Balls

I haven't had a chance to try these yet and I don't even know if Golftown have then in yet but your going to see alot of ads both in print and on TV for these bad boys as Bridgestone Golf will begin a $7 million campaign for 2008 that sounds pretty different. They are bringing back the fictional Dr. Waza who will be used in some humorous TV ads that you'll see soon.

"We introduced Dr. Waza with the first ads for the original e5 and e6 balls," said Brandon Sowell, Bridgestone golf ball marketing manager. "The ads are admittedly offbeat, but the consumer response was very positive. The ?new ad is even more outrageous."

The e5+ will be the only two-piece ball on the market with a urethane cover. It will have a firmer feel and is designed for golfers seeking more carry distance off the tee. The three-piece e6+, with a new inner layer material plus enhanced core and cover, is targeted at players seeking to reduce a hook or slice.

Bridgestone is also looking at maybe adding to there already impressive list of pro golfers which includes:
Nick Price, Paula Creamer, Fred Couples, Stuart Appleby, Matt Kuchar, Brandt Snedeker, Will MacKenzie, Shigeki Maruyama and Kevin Stadler.
