Well Annika hosts one so why not Lorena Ochoa? Lorena will host the The Lorena Ochoa Invitational next year as part of four new tournaments on the LPGA Tour schedule. The 54-hole event for 36 players will be played at Guadalajara Country Club, the course where Lorena grew up playing on.

Banamex and Corona have signed don to be sponsors of the tournament. It will be held Nov. 13-16 with a purse of US$1-million. It will be the second-to-last event on the schedule, leading to the ADT Championship. Ochoa has certainly put Mexico on the map since she started playing on the LPGA 5 years ago. This will be the third event for Mexico in 2008.

The field will include the top five players in the world ranking, the top 26 players from the LPGA Tour money list and five exemptions. Ochoa said at least one of the exemptions would be for a Mexican player, and she might hold a qualifying tournament. And she already made one unofficial invitation.
