Luke Donald To Play At Qatar Masters

Interesting how the field is coming together for the Qatar Masters as Luke Donald has been added to the field for the January 24-27 tournament. Donald, who plays more on the PGA Tour will be playing on the The European Tour in an attempt to win the record prize money of $2.5 million. I'm sure that's why most players like Retief Goosen, Sergio Garcia and world number seven Adam Scott are also taking part in the Doha event.

Qatar Golf Association chairman Hassan Al Nuami is delighted with the strength of the Doha field and told the European Tour's official website: "Over the years we've welcomed some great players to Doha but with a field including Sergio Garcia, Retief Goosen, Adam Scott and now Luke Donald, as well as record prize money of $2.5 million, we are looking at pushing the bar even higher in 2008."
