Lowery Wins, VJ Faulters At Pebble Beach

I guess there's always hope for those guys on the PGA Tour that seem to just stay in the background have won a few times on the tour but not in awhile and are low down in the World Rankings. Well if your Steve Lowery you woke up with a huge smile on your face today as your the 2008 winner of the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Lowery won on the first playoff hole with a birdie over VJ Singh. There really should not of been a playoff as VJ was just playing along nicely until the back 9 took a hold of him and threw a bunch of birdies up on his card. VJ really lost this tournament more than Lowery winning but there's a fine line on the PGA Tour and that's what gives players like Lowery some hope and others of course.
