Word on the street from Flagstick Editor Scott MacLeod is that Paula Creamer will be in town when the ladies tee it up at this year's LPGA Canadian Open at the Ottawa Hunt Club:

Creamer told him that there was no way she would miss playing the CN Canadian Women’s Open in Ottawa this year. The 2008 CN Canadian Women’s Open will be played at the Ottawa Hunt & Golf Club on August 11-17. She cited the beauty of the golf courses in Canada on top of a strong field and the chance to win a national championship as the reason why she would play the event every year if possible. The 21 year old is a fan favourite and is currently the top ranked American female player in the world. In 2007 she finished second to Lorena Ochoa at the CN Canadian Women’s Open.
