The inaugural Ballantines Championship is on the circuit this week on the European Tour. It will be held at the Pinx Golf Club, Jeju Island, in South Korea - This will be the last tournament on the European's Asian run.

The big draw this week will be local favorite and world No. 5 K.J. Choi, as well as world No. 10 and reigning British Open champ Padraig Harrington are playing at Pinx Golf Club this week. They are skipping the PGA Tour event in Florida this week. Choi picked up his seventh PGA Tour win earlier this year at the Sony Open, and has finished inside the top 10 in his last two starts.

Joining those two in the field this week is American Chris DiMarco. He will be playing on the European Tour for the fifth time, excluding majors and WGC events.

Anthony Kim, whose parents are native Koreans, will also be in the field. Kim has had a slow start in 2008 with one top five in five starts. In his other four starts, his best finish was a share of 30th at the FBR Open.
