K.J.Choi Wins Sony Open In Windy Conditions
Choi survived the crazy Hawaii winds at Waialae and and fought off a streaking Rory Sabbitini to close with a 1-over 71 for a three-shot victory Sunday. It was Choi's fourth straight year with a PGA TOUR victory, joining TW, Phil and VJ with active streaks that long. I knew he would do well this week as I picked him in my Ottawa Golf Fantasy League. He couldn't have 2 bad weeks in a row. Only eight players broke par in the final round, when the average score was 72.2 Choi finished at 14-under 266 and earned $954,000 for his seventh PGA TOUR win. Check out a few putts from KJ from Sunday at the Sony Open.
