Draw For WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship Set

The draw for next week's WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship in Arizona was announced on Friday. There are some definitely interesting match ups including Tiger against long hitting J.B. Holmes in the opening round.

Phil Mickelson, Steve Stricker and fourth-ranked Ernie Els of South Africa are the top seeds in the other three groups. Left-hander Mickelson, will play against Pat Perez which should be another good matchup.

Stricker starts out against Swede Daniel Chopra, winner of the season-opening Mercedes-Benz Championship, and Els takes on Jonathan Byrd in Wednesday's first round at Dove Mountain's Gallery Golf Club. Henrik Stenson who won last year will have his hands full with Robert Allenby. Jerry Kelly against Padraig Harrington will be two pit bulls going after each other. Monty against Furyk will also be an interesting one to watch.

The opening World Golf Championships (WGC) event of 2008, is being held at Dove Mountain for the second year in a row, it was previously staged at La Costa Resort in Carlsbad, California.
