Check out my latest Sligo Wear Review.
I normally don't rout against PGA Tour players but this past weekend I just couldn't believe Brian Gay was putting on a clinic and going to win the Verizon Heritage by a whopping 10 shots. Just a few weeks earlier I'd picked him and he didn't even make the cut. He's been one of my go to guys for my Fantasy Leagues, I just can't seem to pick him at the right time. This guys is 4th in driving accuracy and 40th in putting average and up to 7th in FedEx Cup points. It was inevitable he'd win again I'm just mad I didn't pick him this past week.
With Brian Gay victory comes another win for Sligo Wear out of Mississauga Canada. Congrats to them as Gay was looking great in his Sligo Wear en route to winning the tournament. Ottawa Golf Blog hopes to have a review of their 2009 line soon.

The viewers obviously loved Brian's look as the number of page views on our new web site(www.sligowear.com) was off the charts.''
Gay's 10-shot victory is the largest on the PGA Tour since Phil Mickelson won the 2006 BellSouth Classic by 13 strokes and came in his 10th start at the Heritage. Gay, who has won more than $1.6 million this season, has made 10 cuts in 11 starts this season. In addition to his Heritage victory, Gay has a T5 at the Sony Open and a T6 at the FBR Open.
The victory at Harbour Town also vaulted Gay to seventh on the on the FedExCup points list with 927 points.
Sligo Wear was founded by a group of friends and active golfers each of who were frustrated by a lack of fashionable and proper fitting affordable golf apparel in the market place. At Pro Am to the Azores in early 2004, they noticed a different fashion for golf apparel and upon their started Sligo Wear Inc.
Sligo Wear was an immediate success in the Canadian market and in 2007, the company signed a deal with Fairway Styles Inc. of Richmond, Va., to bring fashion change to the U.S. market
