It's hard to believe Lee Westwood hasn't won in over two years. He's been pretty consistent with lots of top 10 but just couldn't finish off a lot of tournaments. Well the two-year drought ends today with a two-shot victory over Francesco Molinari at the Portugal Masters.
The Englishman shot a 6-under 66 to finish at 23-under 265 at the Oceanico Victoria and move to the top of the European Tour money list.
Westwood, had a bogey-free round, and nearly pitched in at No. 17 (see video below) before sinking his birdie to gain a two-shot lead as his Italian rival bogeyed the par-3 16th.
