Suzann Pettersen Using New Cameron

Nice to see the ladies using some new putters. Suzann Pettersen was using a Scotty Cameron Detour Newport this past weekend at the Safeway International, she finished second to Lorena Ochoa. She had a nice round of 66 for her final round.

Titleist Introduces New Blog

There new blog has been going on since March 20th with some great insight about different Titleist Staffers. Titleist has always had a news section but it seems they're getting serious with a few more details in there blog including info about Robert Karlsson's putter and Adam Scott's new Pro V1. Keep it up Titleist we love the info and pics.

Was There Any Doubt?

Tiger wins again yesterday as he puts together a lackluster 73 with a bunch of bogeys and a few birdies. No one ever really challenged him a few got close but the Doral was tough with wind and deep rough. Those I thought would challenge were around but Tiger was just better. Next up the Shell Houston Open.

Leaney Leads At PODS On Tough Course

Keep it in the short grass that's what Stephen Leaney did most of his second round with some nice short game to squeeze into the lead at the PODS Championship. He leads at -6, a host of others are 2 strokes back including defending Champ K.J. Choi who shot another 69 and Chris Dimarco, Pat Perez, Heath Slocum, and Vaughan Taylor. Should be an interesting weekend. A few of my Fantasy picks didn't pan out at as Bernard Langer had two bad rounds and Brett Wetterich didn't make the cut. CH II made the cut on the line whereas Jesper struggled to a 75 but did make the cut.

Kresge Leads PODS Championship With A Solid -6

Cliff Kresge, who was 8 under through 11 holes when I checked the scoreboard earlier today was on fire With a few errant shots he closed with a 6-under 65 and a two-shot lead in the PODS Championship. Will it last I doubt it, first round you don't win the tournament but you can certainly can lose it. Others in contention are Daniel Chopra, Arron Oberholser and Anthony Kim who all shot 67s. Only 27 players managed to break par, and the scoring average was 72.3.
I see where Arron is using the new Titleist 907D2 Driver.

Mark Wilson Wins Honda Classic Monday Morning With Another Clutch Putt

Mark Wilson won the Honda Classic Monday morning with another clutch putt. His birdie on the third playoff hole won him the Honda Classic in a four-way playoff over Boo Weekley, Jose Coceres, and Camilo Villegas. Boo Weekley and Camilo Villegas with bogeys on the second playoff hole were out to let Wilson and Coceres shoot it out.

The tournament would have been over on Sunday if Boo had been able to make a 3 foot putt on the 72nd hole. He missed, leading to the playoff. Mark is a first time winner on the PGA Tour and will not have to go back to Q-School this year as he'll have a 2 year exemption.

We'll Have to Wait For Monday For the Winner of The Honda Classic

Who would of predicted a 4-way playoff at the Honda Classic on Sunday and having to go into Monday to decide the winner. I’m just glad for my PVR, I’ll be recording it off TGC, should be really excited. Robert Allenby not being in the playoff surprises me but Saturday is what killed him(73), he had a decent Sunday shooting a 2 under 68. My other picks did fairly decent although it was a disappointing 75 for Jesper on Sunday which dropped him from T13 to T46. The others were
T5 Allenby
T13 DL III
T13 Padraig
T20 Toms
T31 Furyk
T46 Donald
Who will win Monday, will it be Mark Wilson, Camilo Villegas, Jose Coceres or or Boo Weekley. It probably should of ended Sunday as Boo Weekely missed a 3 footer that would of won it for him, but he was obviously nervous as he’s never won on the PGA Tour, you have to feel for the guy.
Coceres is the Veteran as he’s the only one who’s won on the PGA Tour although I’m pulling for Camilo.

Charlie Wi has Allenby with him on top after Two Rounds at the Honda Classic

Robert Allenby shot a nice 68 on Friday to join Charlie Wi on top of the Honda Classic Leaderboard. Wi's scorecard had some crazy holes with him carding a triple on his second followed by 4 birdies on his next 5 holes. His back 9 had 3 bogeys and 2 birdies. I don't think he'll fade over the weekend as I think his game will have way more bogeys and alot less birdies as the pressure will get to him. Allenby on the other hand has been so consistent and is due for a PGA Tour win(Hasn't won since 2001).
Another player to look out for is my man Jesper who carded a second round 69, only be off the lead by 4, watch out for the Swede as I think his game is rounding into shape after missing so many cuts so fa this year(4).
