Brandt Jobe Wins With SeeMore Nashville Studio Series ONE SS Putter

(Franklin, TN) Shooting a near flawless 67-66-69- 202, 14 under par, Brandt Jobe rode some great play tee to green, and great consistency with his putter, to a very popular victory at the Principal Charity Classic in Des Moines, Iowa. The winner check of $262,500 vaulted Jobe into 6th place in the Charles Schwab Cup. He led the field in most birdies (18) and fewest bogeys (2), and made putt after putt all weekend when he needed it most.

Jobe put the new SeeMore Nashville Studio Series ONE SS, in play 3 weeks ago in Birmingham, at the Regions Tradition, a Major Championship, leading to a top 25 finish. He then finished top 10 at his next event, another Major, the KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship. Now in his 3rd event with the Rosemark grip and SeeMore putter, he holds off Bernhard Langer, Scott McCarron, and Kevin Sutherland for the biggest win of his PGA Tour career.

My Father-in-law uses a Garmin Golf GPS watch but there’s also handheld units like the Garmin Approach G30 Golf GPS. These units are always very helpful for the average golfer and golf techies love them as well. Garmin is one of the leaders in Golf GPS units.

Golf Belt Review – Beltology

I’ve done many a review on belts, one of my favorite accessories for golf apparel both on and off the golf course. I love the fact they serve a function but can also look stylish and make a statement as well.

Recently I’ve had the pleasure of testing out one of Beltology’s unique belts. Here’s the “stats” for the belt I got to review:

The “Basis” is a Blue & white herringbone rayon strap interwoven with flex. 1.25 inches wide and 0.2 inches thick. Cognac leather trim with a polished nickel buckle.

What I liked about the “Basis” Belt:

Lightweight woven material is great on the golf course where you don’t want a heavy belt weighing you down while swinging. Most of the time you don’t realize you have a belt on, great for an active Dad.
