He was the player I looked up to, the player I tried to emulate playing street hockey. I had all his hockey cards, his posters were strewn all over my room. I remember getting his autograph at a local Softball game in the summer back about 25 years ago. They'll be retiring his number tonight. Ken Dryden, Ex-goalie-turned-politician will have his No. 29 raised to the rafters before Monday's game against the Ottawa Senators at the Bell Centre (CBC, 7:30 p.m. local — ceremony only), will it inspire Montreal hopefully not as I'm a Sens Fan now.
