So the talk about the U.S. Open all week has been about how tough the course is going to play with some long par 3s, crazy rough, and narrow fairways. We won't get into the stimp factor of the greens. Last year Geoff Ogilivy won with a score of +5. I'm sure the winner will be around this score, it should be interesting, I know I'll be tuned in. Here go my picks for the tournament in no particular order.
Arron Oberholser- long shot but has played well the last two US Opens
VJ- will grind out a good score
Els -some old Oakmont vibes.
Furyk - has been playing well as of late
TW -focused for the Majors
Garcia - he's due for a Major could it be this week.
Harrington - see above
