When the golf season is over I tend to hit the gym at work more. I usually try to focus on cardio as I'm almost 40 and you have to get the old heart going to maintain that long life. My favorite piece of equipment in the gym is the treadmill. Treadmills at least for me gets my heart the best workout for my heart. I'll usually always do some sit ups along with arm curls and triceps curls with lighter weights. I'll also do some pectoral workouts along with some leg workouts to isolate those big muscles. A great place to find some golf specific workouts is at Mike Pedersen website. He has some great stretches and some workouts to help you with your golf game.
