Mike Weir Holds 54 Hole Lead At Mercedes-Benz Championship

Mike Weir looks solid as he posted another bogey free round of 67 to take a one shot lead over Nick Watney going into Sunday's final round. His putter was again hot but there's about 12 guys who could win this event with it being so close and the conditions improving everyday.

Four of the last five 54-hole leaders at the Mercedes-Benz Championship have gone on to win the next day.

Since the President's Cup Weir has carded 11 consecutive rounds under par in a stretch that included a tie for 10th at the Frys.com Open and a win at the Fry's Electronics Open.

Sunday should be a battle to the end. Will record some highlights and post asap.
