TaylorMade’s Commemorative 2009 British Open Staff Bag
"On the front of each bag is a large version of the logo on the right. The "RB" in the crown is for Robert the Bruce, who was born in Turnberry Castle in 1274. Eight years after being crowned King of Scots in 1306, his army defeated England's and won freedom for Scotland.
The four red jewels in the crown represent the Open Championships contested on Turnberry's Ailsa Course (1977, 1986, 1994 and 2009).
Golf fans should easily piece together what the sun, crossed swords and 77 symbolize—Tom Watson's victory in the 1977 Open over Jack Nicklaus that has come to be known as "Duel in the Sun."
The dark mound rising from the water represents Ailsa Craig, the volcanic island 11 miles off the coast of Turnberry in the Irish Sea. Expect to see lots of photographs and images of Ailsa Craig during this week's Open coverage.
The crossed white stripes on the blue background at the bottom symbolize the national flag of Scotland."
If you want one be sure to check out GolfToImpress.com they have them in their store.

For those recording the Open Championship on their PVRs please note this is a huge spoiler as far as golf spoilers go. Tiger Woods is going to miss the cut. Yes it's hard to believe but it looks like World #1 is going to miss the cut after a not so niffy 74 in round two today in typical Open Championship weather. So who's going to win now and would of thought that at 59 Tom Watson would be leading the Open after two rounds. Westwood looks solid, Goosen always seems to be there, hey even VJ and Calc are in the mix. Come on old guys show Marino what your made of. Here's to waking up early and catching early round action Saturday promises to be rather exciting.

Puma Golf Tipper Golf Shoe Review
Looks
The pair I received from Puma Golf were the white and black model. I've never owned any type of Puma shoe so I was excited to test them out. At first glance they look very much like your everyday traditional golf shoe but upon further inspection there's a lot going on with these golf shoes. After just unboxing them I can see why people wear them they are pretty damn sexy looking. Mine were size 12 and they don't look like huge I believe partially due to the concealed laces and the contrasting black upper half of the shoe. The Tipper shoes are very much sleek and stylish appealing to both the golf hipster and the more traditional golfer.
On Course/ Comfort / Technology
Out of the box these fit great with no break in period what so ever. I have a narrow foot with a high arch but these fit great with more than enough room. They are so much lighter then my current Adidas golf shoes which I thought were pretty light. When I first put them on the Tipper it really felt like a lightweight running shoe for golfing.
Part of the reason these golf shoes feel so light is that the Tipper golf shoe sits on a full foot thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) outsole which is fancy talk for a . The other reason is these golf shoes don't have your regular plastic spikes. Puma has designed a lightweight permanent spike system called Smart Quills. And these quills sure do stick just like a porcupines. The left and right shoes Quills are design different based on a golfers swing and the torque that they create during the movement of their swing. These really do work great, I've had no slipping or sliding on the course whether it's with my driver or my wedge out of the rough(I am a high handicap golfer right!). I wish I had these back when I lived in North Vancouver on the Wet Coast.
After any of the rounds of golf with these Tipper golf shoes my feet never felt achy or tired can't say that about most of my other golf shoes. The Tipper model has a 2 year Waterproof guarantee and so far I've had no problems with my feet staying dry even after some pretty heavy rains we've been getting here in the Ottawa area.
Conclusion
I really like the Tipper model from Puma Golf. It's a great lightweight shoe shoe that's great for walking the course. A love the style of the shoe and it will appeal to all types of golfers. I love the use of cutting edge technology in their golf shoes especially the Smart Quills. I don't know how long the built-in quills will last especially if you play many rounds during a season but so far mine have held up nicely. PUMA says they'll last for years – covered by a two-year limited guarantee. Also because there are so many quills on these golf shoes always make sure you give them a good clean after each round because they can get quite clogged with grass especially if you play in wetter conditions. The price on these is around $170 USD which is pretty reasonable for the same kin of shoes in this category. All in all a well built, great traction, lightweight and comfortable tour-grade golf shoe.

Take a Kid to the Course -Free Golf For Kids Next Week
The National Golf Course Owners Association Canada wants to encourage families and juniors to take up the game of golf, this cross-Canada campaign is designed to illustrate how easy it is to improve both your score and your relationship with your children by bringing them out to the golf course.
In addition to the free golf, many courses will offer additional programs such as junior clinics, free range balls, free junior club rentals and parent/child tournaments. Kids play for free and can then enter a national contest to win fabulous prizes!
One of the local courses that I golf at the most during my season has extend the program of KIDS PLAY FREE for the entire month of July. Also KIDS PLAY FREE every Saturday and Sunday after 4 pm all season. Nice going Manderley On The Green.
Sounds like a great idea I know I'll be taking my kids out.
The Pros Looking Human
John Daly Says He'll Be At Canadian Open
For anyone tuning into today's coverage of the Open de France on the European Tour they'd be pleasantly surprised to have John Daly doing some commentary with Renton Laidlaw on today's third round. Daly chatted with Renton about various golfers swings, his injury to his rib (physio is going well should be back next week at the Scottish Open), the success of Loudmouth golf clothes, his weight loss -another 9 pounds (Daly was having a snack - cheeseburger during the commentary) and doing a shout out to his many Twitter fans. Loved his commentary and Daly definitely could have a job once he hangs up his clubs.
The thing that was great was he was going over his schedule and he mentioned next week's (Scottish Open) and the Open Championship at Turnberry. He mentioned he'll be in Canada after the Open. Great news! that they've extended him an invite. I'll be attending the Canadian Open this year so I'm excited to see Daly up close and personal. Will keep all you Daly fans updated.
