Golf Digest Signs Rickie Fowler As A Playing Editor

Rickie Fowler fires a 65 on the North Course at Torrey Pines in his first round of the season. No rust there and today it's announced he's signed as a playing editor for Golf Digest. Good for all us hackers getting tips from Rickie. I might have to renew my subscription because Rickie is My Homeboy.

NEW YORK - Golf Digest has announced that Rickie Fowler, 2010 PGA Tour Rookie of the Year, has joined the magazine as an exclusive playing editor. Fowler will provide bylined instruction and feature content on a regular basis.

Over the past year, Fowler has contributed to Golf Digest on a number of occasions, including most recently being the subject of the "What's In My Bag" section in the January 2011 issue. In 2010, Fowler appeared on the cover of the May issue that featured his swing sequence.
