Cobble Beach Announces Packages for Perfect Summer Getaways

A course I'm aiming to play this summer,  Doug Carrick's designed Cobble Beach located just outside of Owen Sound. I'll keep you posted.

Lauded Doug Carrick-Designed 18, Luxurious Spa, Comfortable Inn or Cottage Accommodations

(KEMBLE, Ontario) – Cobble Beach – Georgian Bay’s extraordinary waterfront golf resort community two hours northwest of Toronto – announces two unique packages for relaxing getaways to savor the long days of summer.

Perfect for couples, the Inn Stay-and-Play Package starts at $135 (per person, double occupancy) and features one round on Cobble Beach’s outstanding Doug Carrick-designed 18 or a luxurious spa treatment, comfortable accommodations in the Nantucket-style Inn, and “Grab and Go” breakfast for two.

Ideal for “golf buddy” groups and families, the Cottage Package starts at $144 (per person, based on quad occupancy). It features one round of golf, one night of accommodation in a private cottage as well as a “Grab and Go” breakfast, golf cart, bottled water and use of the topnotch practice facilities.

The Cottage Package may be expanded to two rounds with one night accommodation starting at $219. Two rounds and two nights’ lodging begins at $284. Use of the resort’s first-class amenities – Jacuzzi, steam room, 14km of trails, beach club, and more – is included in both packages.

“Our distinctive package offers are just the ticket to enjoy summertime in one of the most beautiful spots in Ontario,” says Rob McLeese, President of Cobble Beach. “Whether visiting as a resort guest or residing in our community as one of our home owners, the Cobble Beach lifestyle is all about living stress free and savoring the good life.”

Hailed as one of Carrick’s greatest layouts, Cobble Beach Golf Links features water views from most every hole along its 7,134-yard routing. Pure-rolling fescue greens with challenging pin locations emphasize strategically-placed approach shots. Closely mown chipping areas, small pot bunkers and hollows surrounding greens provide for the classic bump-and-run opportunities associated with links-style courses.

Enhancing a Cobble Beach stay is the chef-driven Sweetwater Restaurant & Bar. Conveniently located at the Inn, it features classical cuisine with modern innovation highlighting organic, local and seasonal ingredients for all appetites. Lunch and dinner are enjoyed in the dining room, or fireside lounge with an intimate gastropub ambiance.
