Tales From The Golf Course - Turf Maintenance Style

By Ottawa Golf Blog   Posted at  7/10/2016 01:28:00 PM   No comments

Over the past 3 years I've had the pleasure of working on the maintenance staff at Rideau View Golf Club outside of Manotick, Ontario. I've honed my skills on the greens where I've become the part-time hole changer and chief moisture reader extraordinaire. It's become a bit of a passion and I love the mostly quiet time I get to change the holes. Each and every day is different and you never know what you might see. So here's a start in pictures. What I might see in a morning of hole changing.

Cool dragonflys and interesting looking bugs.

A frog basking in the early morning sunshine.

Oh Canada!

"Shit" you find on the golf course.

Spectacular sunrises.

Mr. Duck on #6

6:00am rainbows.
