Had my first round of the season this past Saturday(April 21st). You couldn't of asked for a better day the weather was sunny and warm(for April) and I was out on one of my local courses, Manderley On The Green. There's 27 holes at Manderley and I ended up playing the Central and North courses. I was by myself for the first 9 holes so I played 2 balls on each hole so I ended up getting 27 holes in as I me up with another twosome on North #2. It was great to finally get out as I had all new clubs from last year other than my Red X Scotty, my 58 degree wedge and my TM Rescue Mid TP hybrid. The big change was with the driver as I had not even been to the range yet with my new Cleveland Hi-Bore XL 9.5 degree driver. Well it did not disappoint for my first round of the year as it was just as long as my old G2 and with its loud whack at impact this driver just feels awesome. I will post a detailed review once a get some more rounds in with it. All in all I was quite pleased with my game my irons were solid and I even drained a few putts. My scores were 50-47-43, not to bad for just shaking off the rust.
