Greens Improving At East Lake

Well it looks like the Tour Championship won’t be a complete disaster, as it seems the greens have improved enough to let players actually practice on them. You have to figure the guys who haven’t played the course before or for those who’ve only played it a couple of times will be smiling ear to ear.
The Tour announced today:
Due to moderately improved conditions to the greens at East Lake Golf Club, PGA TOUR professionals competing in this week's TOUR Championship presented by Coca-Cola will be allowed to play restricted practice rounds on Tues., Sept. 11, and Wed., Sept. 12.
Three greens will remain closed to practice rounds-- Nos. 2, 13 and 15. All other holes may be played in their entirety.

Thank God it would be nice to see a few guys actually put some pressure on Tiger. We’ll see.
