This week sees the PGA Tour head back to Florida for the last two weeks of the season. Look for golfers who play well in Florida to excel on that nice Bermuda grass. I can't see anyone outside of the top 125 wining this week although a few guys will be obviously gunning for the top 125. The course was designed by Arnold Palmer in 2003. It's a Par 72 course and plays at 7226 yards. The course sports Tif Sport Bermuda Grass. The course has hazards everywhere. Staying away from water is the key as the course is built on wetlands and water comes into play on every hole. There's also 58 bunkers that line the course too. Sounds like alot of fun. Here's my picks:
Jesper Parnevik- Jesper after taking last week off is playing great towards the end of the season. After securing his card a few weeks ago he's ready to freewheel in Florida.
Justin Leonard- A player that is also playing well and can contend whenever he's on a streak.
Mark Calcavecchia- A risky pick as he played horrible last week in Arizona but always play well in FLA.
Heath Slocum- has some good finishes in Florida and is an accurate player.
Carl Pettersson- Playing well as of late, has won in Fla. before. Three top ten finishes in his last four starts.
Sean O'Hair- Except for a few bad holes last week could of won. He'll continue his good play.
Lucas Glover- Rested after the President's Cup if he stays focused he could win this week. Has won in Florida before.
