Jesper Parnevik Back At It In Florida

A good article about Jesper Parnevik's up and down season and how he's turned it around to be well inside the top 125 and a contender for this week's PGA Tour stop at The Ginn sur Mer Classic in sunny Florida. He also talks about his good stats for the year even though it was a tough year with injuries and inconsistencies.

"Going into the Texas Open, I was second to Tiger (Woods) in all-around play, tied for second in putting, second in birdies per round, the top third in greens in regulation, first in three-putt avoidance and first in short putting ... and I was 145th on the money list, which was impossible," Parnevik said Monday while hitting practice shots out of a bunker at the Tesoro Club.

"Those stats are for guys in the top five or the top 10 of the money list. I just couldn't believe it. I'm mind-boggled."
