Senators Open Season In TO - Heatley Signs

I can't believe this is my first hockey related post since last years playoffs. Well here it goes the Sens start the season on the round in TO. The players I'm sure are glad the pre-season is over(7-0 by the way) and the regular season is just about to begin against the much hated Leafs. Another solid lineup got even more solid for the next 6 years as Dany Heatley was signed just shortly before 5pm tonight to a 6 year deal averaging about 7.5 million a year. The next step will be to eventually sign Spezza but I'm sure that will happen down the road. The games on t.v., I'll be listening to the Team 1200, enjoy the game.
