Apparently Rochester, NY is the place to be if your looking at golfing. Golf Magazine, Golf.com and the National Golf Foundation ranked the Greater Rochester area #10 out of the 50 largest metropolitan areas in the country. It was also ranked #1 for the Northeast area. Who would of thought. Cities were graded on the affordable of public courses in the area(Rochester has 64 public golf courses in the area), weather, quality of courses and accessibility. The top three metropolitan areas ranked are Austin-Round Rock, Texas; Columbus, Ohio, and Las Vegas-Paradise, Nev.
The bottom three are Buffalo at No. 48, New York-Northern New Jersey-Long Island at No. 49, and Hartford, Conn., at No. 50.
