It seems wherever you go someone is selling something. Look no further than online social media sources like Twitter and Facebook. People selling DVDs that are "guaranteed to fix your golf swing" or the one I love "how to get more Twitter followers" or even all the wellness products being pushed. I really don't care about the best fat burners or a pill that's going to make me feel great all the time and it's "all natural". Weeding through all the spam if you would like sometimes leads me to a revelation and sometimes a pretty good idea or two. I even sometimes find a great tool to make blogging and my blogs better. Regardless without people selling their wares it would be just be boring out there, right?
