Field Set For 2009 Canadian Open

The field is set for the 2009 Canadian Open released today by the PGATour.com Mike Weir and Stephen Ames headline the Canadian contingent with young gun amateurs Nick Taylor and Matt Hill in the field as well. Graham DeLaet who's one of the hottest golfers on the Canadian Tour is also in the field.

Anthony Kim and Bubba Watson will be well rested after missing the cut at the Open Championship. Golfers that will be playing this weekend and are scheduled to hitch a ride on the Canadian Open Express from Scotland are Holmes, Luke Donald, Camilo Villegas, Sean O'Hair, JB Holmes, Retief Goosen, Steve Marino and John Daly.

The Canadian Open has a definite stellar field we only hope there are few withdrawals after the completion of the Open Championship on Sunday. We'll keep you updated.
