Lyle & Scott’s Scottish Flare Good Fit For Canadian Golf

I was first introduced to Lyle & Scott through Trendy Golf an online retailer in the USA. I haven’t done any reviews of their golf apparel but for me their clothes have always had a subtle vintage look using some great fabrics and designs. Take a look at two of my favorites the mesh hooded sweater and the v-neck cardigan. Not surprising the L&S brand has Scottish roots dating back to 1874 when Lyle & Scott is founded in Hawick in the Scottish Borders.

Their new Fall and Winter collection, the Lyle & Scott Club Collection again has the infusion of both old and new designs. This collection looks ideal for golfing in Canada at this time of the year. Keep warm, swing a golf club and look stylish at the same time.

The Autumn/Winter 2010 collection has been re-worked with greater attention to detail, fit, fabric selection and garment function. Menʼs Club includes design classics like the tipped polo shirts, Harrington jacket or the synonymous v-neck argyle sweater. We have combined these pieces with functional sportswear inspirations for example: mesh jerseys, ergonomic seam detail, waterproof zippers and sporty trims to create the ultimate collection for golfers on and off the course this Autumn.

I was glad recently to be able to talk to Jessica the Marketing Manager for Lyle & Scott. She informed me that they have a new distributor in Canada. She expects distribution would be increasing but they also ship to Canada from their website.

Lyle & Scott makes it pretty easy for Canadians to purchase L&S apparel from their online store with low shipping rates and a easy to navigate website. Have a look. If your interested in looking at their impressive Fall/Winter catalog send me an email and I’ll send you the PDF. They also do women's golf apparel as well.
