Color stories for 2013:
The Spring 2013 G-Mac by Kartel Collection introduces a brilliant color palette that incorporates Irish themes. Vibrant brights are contrasted with more traditional solid colors, each color combination embodying the history and heritage of Graeme and his ancestors.
Bell Heather is paired with the pale color of the traditional Irish Sodabread, to create what Graeme refers to as a "match made in heaven".
The succulent colors Oyster paired with Salmon is a reflection of Graeme's memory of the taste of sea air and fresh seafood.
Graeme believes that when he looks and feels his best, he performs his best. The color of the blue skies in Galway County, in contrast with black evokes a feeling of strength and confidence needed in any competition.
Finally, the color combination of Magenta and Navy conjures the image of dawn over the Antrim coastline that Graeme used to see growing up in Portrush.
Performance Fabric Stories for 2013:
All products in the G-Mac by Kartel collection are designed in Ireland with superior Irish craftsmanship.
The polo shirts have a UV factor of up to 30, and feature anti-microbial odor management properties. There are two patented moisture management technologies that wick away perspiration comfortably; Dry Tec allows shirt moisture to rapidly evaporate, while Absorbtec enables shirts to absorb and quickly dry away moisture.
Knitwear is composed of either 100% pure mercerized wool, or a cashmere blend, both are extremely breathable fabrics that provide optimum outward air circulation for temperature regulation.
About Kartel
Kartel is part of John Swan Ltd, a family owned Irish business based in Dublin, Ireland. The company was founded in 1947 when a young tailor, John Swan, set up his own modest clothing company in two small rooms above a pub in Dublin's Hill Street. Initially, the company began making men's suits, jackets and trousers, and over the last 60 years has extended its collections into a much broader offering.
In 1985 the Kartel brand was launched with men's casual jeanswear and suit collections, as well as premium golf apparel ranges for both men and women. Kartel is now a leading Irish menswear label and one of the largest clothing distributors in Ireland, currently selling in 26 countries worldwide.
