Good Start For Brad Fritsch At The Sony Open

It was great to see Manotick's own Brad Fritsch cash a cheque of $26,376 in his debut on the PGA Tour this past weekend at the Sony Open.

Brad played pretty good as his stats for week can attest to:

Scoring Average: 68.0
Driving Distance Avg: 319.6
GIR %:65.28%
Sand Save %: 100%
Proximity To Hole: 27'8" (Field avg. was 35')
Scrambling: 85.71%
Putting Avg: 1.818

Bob Weeks from Score Golf posted this on his blog: In a text message to Gord Holder of the Ottawa Citizen, Fritsch said he was pleased by the start but knew he could have been better.

“I played fairly solid this week, except for a few three-putts,” Fritsch wrote in a text message after the round. “My short game was pretty good, and my bunker play was perfect (seven-for-seven).”

Brad will be sporting the Ottawa Senators Logo on his bag this year Golf Wrx has some great photos of Brad's bag be sure and check them out.
