A stones throw from where my Grandparents lived (Douglas, Ont.) or Gods country as its called from some in the Valley lies Whitetail Golf Course. A beautiful course that originally had only 9 holes when it opened back in 2003. But this past year in July 2004 it opened up a to a full 18 Championship holes. My brother-in-law and I prior to the full opening got to play 3 of the new holes (New hole#1 par 3, #2 par, #3 par 4) . This definitely wet our appetite when we got to play the full 18 in August 2004 with two other family members to round out our foursome. We had a great time, golf was good too. Many holes including the opening Par 3 at about 170 yds over water you definitely have to choose your club carefully and wind usually plays a factor also. The cart girl was awesome meeting us at designated holes for cold beverages. Back to golf, Hole #16 and #18 are killers, #16 being a little dogleg up then down to the hole par 5 and #18 being a long par 5 with a dogleg at the end oh! Did I mention the water. I can't wait to play this course in '05 in a few years once this course matures it will be even more wicked. Go play it, it will challenge all levels of golfers. The clubhouse which overlooks the course is great if you want a quick snack or want to cook your own steak for men's night.
Do you ever feel like ordering the best golf carts online, which can be delivered at your door step or at the golf course of your choice? Look no further, online services such as golf galaxy do just that for their customers. They will even throw in a complementary pair of golf shoes with purchases that cross a certain amount.
