Weir Comes Out Strong

It's not surprising after Mike Weir T41 in last weeks Barclays Tournament that he shoots a nice scrappy 65 to begin this weeks Deutsche Bank Championship. Sitting at 88th in the FedEx Cup race he needs to move up into the top 70 to make next week's BMW Championship obviously a win would do that but I'm sure Weir is just wanting to play some consistent golf and stay healthy. Now he knows he's made the President's Cup so maybe golf will seem a little easier that he doesn't have to force it any more which I think Mike would tell you he was. We'll see still 3 rounds to go.
