There 's various articles around the Internet talking about how much money it takes to keep your PGA Tour card. Case in point Brett Quigley a few weeks back in September was at No. 109 on the money list with US$717,411. This week going into the 3rd last event of the season, he has fallen 15 spots to No. 124. He is $358 ahead of Alex Cejka, and $22,131 ahead of Craig Kanada. To give you an idea Darren Clarke finished at No. 125 last year with $660,898. Do you think having seven events of the Fall Series after the Tour Championship is having something to do with these higher numbers.
Quigley won't be coming back this season so it looks like he'll have to take a minor medical exemption, which will give him as many as seven tournaments next year to make up the difference between his $717,411 and whatever winds up being the earnings for No. 125.
