Fred Couples Battles Tommy Armour III For First Win On Champions Tour

I had the pleasure of watching Fred Couples at the 2009 Canadian Open in the practice area and on the course before he had to withdraw with a bad back. What a swing and a huge presence on the course as well. So it was great to see him on the Champions Tour this past weekend win in only his 2nd event. The back was obviously feeling good as he fired a 7 under 64 and held off a charging Tommy Armour III who shot a 61.Is it me or has the Champions Tour in it's first events been pretty entertaining. Lots of new/old faces. Some needing a bit of wrinkle serum for the years out in the sun but wow it's great to see some of these guys out there playing some great golf. I'm sure this won't be the last time we see Tommy Armour III battling Fred Couples.
