Callaway Diablo Octane - Another Driver, Definite Intrigue

Got an media invitation a week or so ago from Callaway as they were giving media an exclusive first look at Callaway’s new Diablo Octane Driver. The Ontario PGA Show in Mississauga was the place for the unveiling this week. Now of course I couldn't get away from my full time job as it pays the bills.

But something about a driver made with the strongest material to hit the golf industry kind of intrigues me. A few weeks ago a fellow blogger attended a similar unveiling in Chicago. Again peaks my interest. Now apparently Ernie Els has put this driver in his bag and what does he go and do last week win the Grand Slam of Golf. Tell me that driver is staying in the bag this week.

More intrigue - The Forged Composite material used in the driver, the first commercial product on the market as a result of the Callaway-Lamborghini partnership.

I have contacted Callaway about testing out the new Diablo Octane Driver a little closer to home at one of their Performance Centres in Montreal. Will keep you posted.
