Chopra Makes Florida Stop First Win

Chopra stole the show Monday claiming his first PGA Tour win at the Ginn sur Mer Classic. play was suspended due to darkness Sunday that made for watching it Monday morning on the Golf Channel. Chopra was tied with Fredrik Jacobson and Shigeki Maruyama at the end of play Sunday. He birdied the par-five 16th his first hole and had pars on 17 and 18 enabling him to shoot a two-under 71 for a 273 total. One ahead of Jacobson and Maruyama, who could only muster pars on there 2 holes on Monday. Chopra made it to the PGA Tour after playing on the European and Nationwide Tours. He's now off the top-125 bubble, and exempt for the next two years.
