Surprisingly the US lead the World Cup in China after day one after a -11 score in the first day of better ball format.
Alot of teams went low with this format including Alex
Cejka and Martin
Kaymer of defending champion Germany who shot 62 and were a stroke behind. Six other teams were at 63 including Finland, Wales, Scotland, South Africa, Thailand and England. So no one is out of it yet, Canada did
ok with Mike Weir and Wes
Heffernan of Calgary three shots back and tied for 14
th.
Boo
Weekley and Heath Slocum were firing at the pins all day we'll see if they can keep it up on day 2. Loved the Duo of
Poulter and Rose displaying there English colors. :)
