This year looks set to be a big one for Galvin Green who are introducing a range of brand new styles including stylish golf shirts with Ventil8 technology and smart new golf jumpers using the popular Insula Tech fabric. The 2016 range has also attracted a number of European Tour golfers from around the world who have now signed up to wear Galvin Green on the golf course this year.

On Tour

The new Galvin Green collection sees a change of direction for the Swedish brand who are aiming to keep their position as a top provider of golf wear for the coming years and regain the competitive advantage that once stood them apart from the field.

Part of this strategy is through endorsing the many European Tour players who will be wearing the clothes and to celebrate this, the company have launched their own campaign with the hashtag #GalvinGreenMoment - to showcase the brand across social media. There are currently eleven European Tour golfers acting as brand ambassadors including Ricardo Gouveia, currently the highest ranked of the players, American professional Daniel Im and the impressive Morten Orum Madsen.

Golf Shirts and Polo Tops Range

The new shirts range is a balance of the elements that have made Galvin Green successful with a new style that is the very latest in comfort and fashion. The shirts make use of the Ventil8 technology that has been popular for many years and come in two key styles, the Macoy and the Marlow.

Vibrant and aesthetic colours are always very important for any golf clothing range and this year Galvin Green have introduced a number of new colours to their range. The Lagoon Blue has been joined by the bright Imperial Blue shades, whilst the signature Electric Red now works perfectly with monochrome shades of black, grey and white.

Another big part of the brand is the Insula wear, which has been a firm favourite choice of outerwear for golfers in the UK for many years. These lightweight golf tops make use of thermal insulating chambers which means players can stay warm on the course despite the Insula jumpers and golf jackets offering superb comfort and a high level of breathability. Galvin Green Insula wear also has plenty of stretch to allow that crucial, natural movement which every golfer needs in performance. The tops are available in quarter zip or full zip styles, whilst there are also sleeveless versions available for 2016.

Ventil8 Trouser Range

Another important element of any golf collection are stylish trouser options and the new Galvin Green trousers also make use of the brand’s Ventil8 technology. The new trousers also add a fresh style to the traditional range; the popular Ned pants of recent seasons have been replaced with the Nash Ventil8 range. This new style effectively combines a regular fit with the stretch and comfort of the Ventil8 technology, allowing golfers to remain dry and comfortable during their round. As well as the new trouser styles for 2016, the Galvin Green Parker Ventil8 Shorts are available across the same colour options.

Conclusion

The early response to the new 2016 range has been extremely positive with the golf waterproofs being the most popular items for many players – as is expected with any new Galvin Green collection. While the brand has long been known for its Gore Tex waterproofs, the new golf clothing range also seems to move strongly into all areas of golf wear with modern styles, bold colours and clever technology within the clothes that makes them perfect for wearing on the course.
