Watching the ladies play over the last two days outside of Edmonton got me thinking about next year when the Canadian Women's Open will be at the Ottawa Hunt Golf Club. If we get the same field here in Ottawa as they have at Royal Mayfair Club this week it's going to be great. Seeing Paula Creamer today sign a golf ball for a kid on the way to the next tee was great, the large crowds, the loud applause for all players not only the ones well known or leading. Great for Canada and Canadian golf. Too bad only Alena Sharp, Nancy Harvey and A.J. Eathorne made the cut.
