Weir Makes Presidents' Cup Team

There's no person more happier yesterday then Mike Weir upon being named one of Gary Player's picks for the Presidents' Cup.

He didn't make it on his play. Every other International player is ranked in the world's top 26 and Weir is 46th. He has a great record in this format( (8-6-0 overall, 3-2-0 Four-Ball, 3-3-0 Foursomes, 2-1-0 Singles) and no other person wants to play in Canada more than Weir. So good choice Gary.

Missing the cut at the 89th PGA Championship didn't help Weir out, and his last few events hadn't been stellar including a withdrawal a few weeks ago. It doesn't matter now we'll see you at Royal Montreal in September.
