Day One -Thursday Foursomes At The President's Cup

Tomorrow's schedule for the President's Cup looks pretty sweet with VJ and Mike Weir teaming up against Phil Mickelson and Woody Austin. If Canadians golfers can't get fired up for this they're dead. Matches are as follows:

1:15pm: Steve Stricker/Hunter Mahan vs Adam Scott (Australia)/Geoff Ogilvy (Australia)
1:25pm: Phil Mickelson/Woody Austin vs Vijay Singh (Fiji)/Mike Weir (Canada) 1:35pm: Stewart Cink/Zach Johnson vs Rory Sabbatini (South Africa)/Trevor Immelman (South Africa)
1:45pm: David Toms/Jim Furyk vs Ernie Els (South Africa)/Angel Cabrera (Argentina) 1:55pm: Lucas Glover/Scott Verplank vs Stuart Appleby (Australia)/Retief Goosen (South Africa)
2:05pm: Tiger Woods/Charles Howell III vs K.J.Choi (South Korea)/Nick O'Hern (Australia))

For those not familiar with what foursomes is here's a great definition:Foursomes is a competition format in which teams are comprised of two players each, and the players alternate hitting the same ball (which is why Foursomes is also very commonly called "alternate shot".

The first player tees off, the second player hits the second shot, the first player hits the third shot, and so on until the ball is holed. Players alternate hitting tee shots so that the same player doesn't hit every drive.
