I didn't think Stephen Ames had a shot this week at winning the PGA Tour stop in Mickey Mouse country, hence why I didn't pick him as one of my 7 picks for my Fantasy League. He had made 7 cuts in a row but nothing stood out in his game that's why I didn't pick him. Well he proved alot of people wrong as he won for the first time this year and third PGA Tour win of his career. He had a wicked up and down from a greenside bunker to solidify a par and a one stroke victory over Tim Clark, who I did have as one of my fantasy picks. Ames finished with a 68 for a 17-under 271 total to hold off Clark’s 66. He moved up on the final money list from 73rd to 31st . He also moved up to 30th from 49th on the Official World Ranking, which secures a Masters invitation based on the top 50 at the end of the calendar year. Good ending to a long PGA Tour season.
