I'm a big fan of Rickie Fowler. More so after the events of the 2010 Ryder Cup.
His resilience during his foursome session with Jim Furyk. He bounces back from a costly penalty (Rule 15-2) where he substitutes a ball and plays it rather than his partner. Many would of folded from such a rookie blunder. Not Rickie or Furyk who battled out a half point in the match.
Now comes Monday's single matches. Down 4 to Edoardo Molinari on #12 in their match. He comes back incredibly with 4 birdies including the final hole with an amazing putt giving Team USA some final hope.
His never give up attitude, clutch putts and youthful exuberance will be a force for future USA teams.
