It was going to take something special on Saturday to give Brooke Henderson a shot a being the 2017 CP Women's Open Champion. What she mustered was a beautiful course record 63. To vault her up the leaderboard and now she's within striking distance of the leaders. Just 3 shots back and with all of Ottawa and Canada pulling for her.

 “I moved."
“It was just like the perfect day,” said Henderson, whose 63 ties her career-low round on the LPGA Tour. “I hit the ball extremely well. Mentally I was right on. I felt in the zone as a lot of athletes call it. I felt like I was in the best place of mind for me to play my best.”
“I felt like I could make something happen,” said Henderson, who will tee of Sunday at 12:53 p.m.with Cristie Kerr and Mirim Lee. “I made putts that I didn’t even know I could make, and I made shots that were just great.”

While standing on the 18th tee waiting for Brooke to finish up on 17 a roar of the crowd could be heard for yet another birdie. You could see she was in the zone when she arrived on 18 to hit her drive. Brooke didn't disappoint closing out her round with another birdie on 18.

8 birdies, 10 pars = 2nd last group out on Sunday
The crowds will be even bigger.
Go Brooke!
