Cobra Golf is almost getting like Taylor Made or should I say Acushnet is getting like TM. It just seems like the Speed LD and Speed Pro series of drivers was released only a few months ago and there releasing a new model.
The new model is called the L4V and it has taken 4 of the USGA performance variables to the limit. They are MOI, Dimensions, COR.,and Volume.
This driver looks impressive from the website. It comes with a great shaft the Cobra/Mitsubishi Diamana Red Board featuring Cobra's own "Dynamic Shaft Balancing". Some of the features of the L4V include the largest face with dual rhombus face insert, carbon composite crown, and carbon composite sole with tungsten weighting. The LV4 comes in 3 models: X, F, M.
X Series-Players who average 265+ drives, 104+ mph swing speed and 150+ mph ball speed. Players who want a neutral ball flight, with low spin and high launch.
F Series- Designed for faster ball speed players who want a higher launch and low-mid spin. It has a straight to slight draw biased head. Players who average 220-275 drives, 87-108 mph swing speed and 125-155 mph ball speed.
M Series- Players who average 210-250 drives, 76-97 mph swing speed and 110-140 mph ball speed. For players who slice or fade, this driver is draw biased for moderate swings. High launch -mid spin.
